This release is mainly bug fix release.
New features are as follows:
-added GOTO button to MARK dialog
-AHRS can be displayed also on rear seat (However it must be always connected
to first seat)
-new colour schemes for terrain and terrain shading.
-fixed bug with displaced glider symbol in task mode.
-fixed bug that causes interruption in communication with rear seat.
-solved problem with Butterfly on start-up

LXNAV V7
The LXNAV V7 is a standalone digital speed-to-fly variometer and final
glide calculator with GPS input and PDA/PNA input/output
- Mechanical needle driven by stepper motor allows fast response and
very accurate vertical speed indication
- A two-inch 320x240 sunshine readable screen displays user adjustable
parameters
- An integrated rotary switch with push button is used to setup all
the parameters
- Integrated g-meter
- Flarm clock screen with acoustic warning (when connected to a Flarm
device)
- Integrated logbook
- A second indicator with rotary switch and push button can be connected
to V7 for double-seated aircrafts.

Major improvements to the LX8000 are:
- compatible with TRX-1090 ADSB-receiver.
- significant speed up of screen refresh rate, which is a side effect
of preparing software for LX9000.

It is recommended that you update your LX8000 to this newest
version especially if it is in a 2-seater configuration.
When a Garrecht Avionik TRX-1090 is connected to LX8000 you will be
able to see all traffic broadcasting an ADS-B signal. To read more about
it and how to connect LX8000 to TRX-1090 please refer to the latest
user manual (see link below).
In addition, the mapping refresh rate has been speeded-up in
version 2.3 and it has even better program stability. The LX Nav
team recommend all users to update their version of LX8000 (go

Colour navigation and vario system
The LX8000 is a high performance vario navigation system with an extremely
bright colour display. A simple and logical user interface is designed
for top-level competitors, club operation as well as for gliding beginners.
The instrument is preloaded with worldwide terrain maps, airspace and
airport databases, and has near unlimited turning point storage capacity.
User friendly data exchange is by use of SD Card or USB interface. LX8000
has an integrated FLARM collision avoidance system (option) and flight
recorder to IGC specification for all flights. LX8000 copes with complex
assigned area tasks. During flight,it shows the optimium solution according
to FAI and OLC rules.
