Microlight Systems

In this section are shown instruments that are low cost and can be integrated into a variety of micro light aircraft at the design or build stage

Because the £ has now fallen by almost 10% since these web site prices were calculated most will be now subject to an increase; please call 07850 950349 for latest.

FUEL CONTROL (for microlights; not TSO or EASA approved)
Filser Fuel Control for microlights and ultralights

The Filser designed and developed FuelConC is both a Fuel Flow sensor and a computer that gives consumption rate and the quantity of fuel remaining. It features double verification of the tank indicator through the calibrated fill level transmitter and the volumetric flow rate sensor. It displays consumption in both litres per hour and litres per 100 Km. Add an external GPS sensor and the effect of the wind can then be assessed and the optimum power setting for maximum range calculated. A further feature is the ability to derive the effective tank measurement of the fill level transmitter whereby a single calibration procedure can compensate for all non-linearity in both the shape of the tank and the transmitter.

Principal features

  • 57 mm panel cut-out
  • 80 mm long
  • Two line LCD to show fuel flow and remaining fuel
  • Easy to use
  • Insensitive to fuel slosh in the tank
  • Power consumption approx 50 mA
  • Voltage 10 - 35 VDC
  • Accuracy: approx 3%
  • Weight: approx 200 g

Price: £229.00 excl VAT; £269.07 incl VAT

PROPELLOR CONTROL (for microlights - not TSO or EASA approved)
Filser Propeller control for microlights and ultralights

The Filser PropCon 1 is a controller for electrically actuated constant speed propellers. Small and light it offers a practical and proven solution to the effective monitoring and control of RPM.

Its design highlights are:

  • 57 mm panel cut-out
  • 60 mm long § Weight approx 200 g
  • Two line LCD showing intended RPM and actual RPM
  • Operates with most electrically actuated propellers
  • Accuracy approx 1.5%
  • Tolerance approx + / - 100 RPM
  • Power source 10.5 to 16 volt

(When in Auto Mode the electronic control is inoperative and manual adjustment of the RPM is then no longer possible)

Price: £195.00 excl VAT; £229.12 incl VAT
