The TRT 800 is developed from the TRT 600 (now discontinued) and is one of a new generation of small lightweight low power consumption transponders with Mode S as well as Modes A/C. An alticoder is built in and installation is very straightforward. It fits a standard 57mm aviation housing and measures 65 x 65 x 180mm and weighs approx 600 gm. It is designed to produce 71 watts at the antenna and is issued with an EASA Form (click on the table to the left to get more information)

The same multi-mode specifications as the TRT 800 Mode S transponder, but in an ARINC standard flat-pack housing, and with 125 watts at the antenna. Specifiy power supply with order- 12-14v or 24 - 28 VDC

Interchangeable with most existing aircraft transponder fitments. Size 160mm behind panel plus 45 mm for connector. 140 mm wide and 40 mm height. Weight 850 gms plus connector. Unit is slotted in from the front of the panel.

Coming Soon - TRT Transponder Remote

Enables rear seat occupant to operate the TRT transponder fitted in the front cockpit of a tandem seat aircraft. Will also be available later in a "black box" version to enable the transponder main unit to be mounted remote from the instrument panel

Glider and Composite Aircraft "Transflex" Antenna

This antenna is designed specifically for gliders and other composite aircraft and comes complete with ground plane for mounting inside the composite structure with the antenna outside. The antenna itself is flexible and designed to tolerate a wheels up landing or similar incident. Available with copper ground plane or wire mesh (the mesh is the easiest to bend to required shape.)
