TRIG TT21 Mode S Transponder

The TT 21 system is the smallest and lightest Mode S general aviation transponder around. The TT21 is a two-part system and includes an integrated altitude encoder !

The TT 21 meets all the rquirements for Mode S elementary surveillance transponders in Europe for aircraft flying below 15,000ft and at airspeeds below 175 kts. It can be used for both VFR and IFR flight. The system also supports 1090 MHz ADS-B extended squitter (an appropriate GPS receiver is required to enable this function – not included).

The TT 21 system can easily be fitted to aircraft where there are space and weight constraints. The front panel controller fits into almost any instrument panel and takes less space than a standard 57mm diameter instrument; a lightweight cable runs from the control panel to the transponder unit and that can be mounted anywhere in the aircraft. The transponder unit is then connected to the antenna and power supply.

TRIG TT31 Mode S Transponder

The TT31 is a power-efficient, inexpensive, Mode S transponder that meets the European elementary surveillance requirements. The TT31 fits in the same mounting tray as the KT76A transponder, making it a great choice for either upgrades or new installations.

The TT31 is TSO approved for fitting to European and FAA registered aircraft.

All Mode S transponder upgrades for EASA (CAA) certified aircraft must be carried out by a licensed engineer using a Minor Change approved by EASA. The TT31 plug and play design minimises the cost and downtime for the upgrade, and the Trig library of pre-approved Minor Changes (see link below) for popular aircraft types means that for many customers there are no EASA fees to pay either! Available in 2 versions; one for plug in replacement for KT 76A (to order – allow 3 weeks) which comprises just the transponder and the other (stock) for new installations and supplied with mounting tray, connector kit, installation manual.

Glider and Composite Aircraft "Transflex" Antenna

This antenna is designed specifically for gliders, other composite aircraft and is ideal for wood and/or fabric covered aircraft. It comes complete with ground plane for mounting inside the composite structure with the antenna outside. The antenna itself is flexible and designed to tolerate a wheels up landing or similar incident. Available with copper ground plane or wire mesh (the mesh is the easiest to bend to required shape and is a stock item.)
